WELL DONE to the Pirates Sports Club Baseball team for winning the Gauteng Nite League!
Pirates beat the Panarama Panthers in the finals 18-6 last night to take the trophy after losing only one game in the 8 games of the Gauteng Nite League held at Randburg Sports Club every Thursday Night.

I am sure most of the members have noticed all the painting that has been going on at the Club – this was a job long overdue.
Thanks very much to Jeanne for driving this project and getting all the photo’s hung up again and the entire Main Club Bar and surrounds painted. The Club looks fantastic – thanks so much Jeanne

Membership Cards
I would like to thank all our members for adhering to the new ‘rule’ of only being allowed to top up your card with an eft into the bank account or with your Debit or Credit Card,.
By applying this new rule it will make a huge difference to our accounting structures. Thanks so much members
New TV’s in the Main Bar
Jeanne has wavered her magic wand and managed to secure TV brand new Flat Screen TV’s for the Main Bar – they look terrific so pop down check them out.
This is arranged through Continental Outdoor Media and lieu of these TV’s they have installed 2 smaller TV’s where advertising will be screened in a 15 minute loop. This is how they derive their income.
The nice part about this is that in that 15 minute advertising loop the Club will be allocated a minimum of 4 minutes to screen our specials or any notices we would like to tell our members.
We have signed a 3-year contract for this and after the 3 years is up the TV’s will belong to the Club and YES they have been installed securely!!
Enjoy the new viewing and looking forward to seeing you all at the club soon and hope to see you all the Gourmet Beer, Food and Wine Festival on Saturday.
