We will be hosting Mad Giant at our 8 September meeting. Mad Giant is situated at 1 Fox Street in the middle of Jozi and brews beers that are bold, audacious and brewed to smack a smile on your face. Their beers are a Weiss (Electric Light), a Pilsner (The Guzzler), an American Pale Ale (Killer Hop) and an Amber Ale (True Grit) all of which are most enjoyable! If you can’t wait, the brewery has a bar and restaurant on site where you can try the beers paired with great food and best of all they have their own free secure parking across the road. If you head down to the motorway end of Fox Street to the end of the road, turn left and halfway up the block turn left again into the parking. Cross the road and enjoy a fabulous experience.
We are hoping to have the head brewer there to tell us more about the brews and the brewery’s origins. The meeting is 18.30 for 19.00 so please try to be on time as we have guests leaving their place of work to be with us. As usual there will be a light meal provided by Pirates kitchens. Please reply as to whether you will be there or not to help us with the catering as well as letting Mad Giant know how much beer to bring (we don’t want to run out!).
