We have an active road running section as well as road cycling and mountain biking so when you join the running club you are welcome to cycle with our team as well. We run Time Trial every Tues evening at 5:45pm sharp from the Bowling Club car park (across the road from the main Pirates club car park in Greenside.)
In many parts of the world Hockey is known to be a predominantly female sport. There are over 3 million people around the world who play hockey. The Pirates hockey has over 100 members that play in both competitive and social teams.
Every Friday evening a social squash evening is held at 5.30pm as well as Saturday mornings at 10:00 at the squash courts. Everyone of any standard is welcome to join in. Pirates Squash has 4 Men’s sides in the Gauteng Squash League and 2 sides in the Gauteng Veterans League. Matches are played on Tuesday or Wednesday nights for Gauteng Leagues and Thursday night for Vets League.
The Pirates junior hockey club is all about competitive fun. We start the kids out at our mini hockey division from ages 5-12 where both boys and girls are trained together.
