The Club has a very busy weekend coming up which is fantastic news. Rugby, rugby and more rugby first the Lions vs Kings on Friday night. Followed by the Junior and Senior Rugby sides both playing at home and to end the day to watch the Bulls in action in the Semi-Finals of the Super 15 Tournament. Pirates will be a great place to watch all this rugby. See you there
CLUB DRAW TONIGHT AT 18h30
The Club Draw will take place tonight at 6.30pm. The amount of money to be won is R500.00 so come down and stand a chance of winning;
PROMOTION/RELEGATION GAME ON TV – LIONS vs KINGS
The first of the double header promotion /relegation game takes place tonight in Port Elizabeth. Come dressed in your Lions Supporters Gear and stand a chance of winning a prize.
Kick off is at 19h10 – we look forward to seeing a good crowd to get behind the Lions in this must win game
PIRATES RUGBY NEWS
The Rugby Boys had a very good all round against Pretoria Harlequins on Saturday. The 1st team came back from a 29 – 12 deficit in the 1st half to win the game in a very exciting finish. Well done guys
Pirates play against UJ on Saturday in the next game of the Predator Cross Borders League. We need support for this game so look forward to many Pirates members and friends coming down to support the rugby and the Club
The Junior Rugby Club is also playing a friendly on Saturday morning at Pirates vs Alberton so lots of action and fun to be had at the Club

PIRATES CRAFT BEER CLUB – Thursday 15th August
We will be tasking Copperlake Breweries on the 15th this is one of the first and most popular Craft beers in Gauteng. Everyone and their friends are welcome to attend these tastings.
Cost: R50.00 per person which include tasting 3 different beers and a very light pub meal. The kitchen will however be open if you would like to order more food.
The tastings are limited to 120 people so let Non know as soon as you can if you are joining us non@piratesrugby.co.za
PIRATES SPORTS SHOP
The Shop will be open this Saturday morning from 08h00 – 14h00. There are new rugby shorts in stock and hockey and rugby socks.
Don’t forget about the memorabilia items on sale as well. Pop in to see for yourself how nice they are

HOCKEY LADIES MATCH – SUNDAY 28th JULY
Unfortunately the ladies lost a very close match to Jeppe on Sunday 3 -4
Goal Scorers were Anika Fischer (2) and Louise Coetzer (1)
Their next game is against VUT on the 28th July at 08h15 at Randburg Astro with the final game being against Crusaders on the 3rd August at 17h15
These are both must win games for the ladies so we wish them luck and look forward to some great support for the ladies
