Who opened the freezer!!! Well we have a fun-packed weekend ahead with the Club Draw tonight and the Gourmet Beer, Food and Wine Festival on Saturday. We look forward to seeing many of our members and their friends this weekend. Bring your beanies, blankets and family to the Club and you will have a fantastic time with us.

GOURMET BEER, FOOD AND WINE FEST

This Fest promises to be a great day at the Club. We know it is cold but come with your beanies, boots and blankets and enjoy some lovely Craft Beer and Wines, Port and Champagnes which will help you wash down the lovely food on offer. We will have soup in a roll, Indian Food, Gourmet Burgers, Smoked sausages, Mediterranean food plus quite a lot more!!!!

Cars will be parked on the top Cricket Field so there will be lots of secure parking for all our visitors

HOME RUGBY vs PUKKE and a few JUNIOR RUGBY GAMES

Pirates Rugby are playing against Pukke this weekend at Pirates – games start at 12h00 with the Pirates Madalas followed by the League games at 13h15. U10 and U12 Junior Rugby sides will also be playing against Panorama with our U9’s playing an internal round robin between themselves from 1h030.

Lots of rugby and lots of fun to be had at the Club this weekend

OUTDOOR GYM IN THE PARK

I am sure many of you have noticed the Outdoor Gym in the Park well this has been sponsored and paid for by 702 Walk the Talk.

There will be an official launch in July but the Club has decided to get fitness fanatics together and show the members and the community how it works

There will be trainers up at the park from 10h00 and everyone is welcome to come along and join in the fun of trying out the new equipment and getting warm.

WORLD CUP SOCCER PIRATES SUPERBRU – HAVE YOU JOINED YET?

The Club is raising money to build a Deck off the patio to make a nice spot to have lunch during the week and to watch rugby and cricket over the weekends. We have therefore started a World Cup Superbru Pool called Pirates Soccer World Cup. Please log in to Superbru and look for the pool and join. The cost is R200.00 and half the money raised will go to the winner and the half of the money will go towards the Deck Fund. Below is a sketch of ‘more-or-less” what the Deck will look like. There will be a few changes to this but it does give you an idea. Please support this Fundraising initiative by depositing R200.00 into the Pirates Bank Account – stating very clearly your name and Superbru.
