Good Afternoon
The Sportsman’s Lunch planned for Friday 8th February has been postponed to Friday 1st March. Ken Rutherford’s son has been selected for the New Zealand Cricket side and Ruds has gone over to watch him – a fairly good excuse not to talk. Congrats Ruds what a wonderful honour for you.
Pirates is however hosting another lunch in aid of a Charity called FreeMe. The lunch is on Friday 15th February and is R250.00 a head. The guest speakers for this lunch are Ex Springbok Warren Brosnihan and Hugh Bladen with Supersports Elma Maspero as the MC. This is a fundraising event for a very worthy cause so please support it if you can. To reserve your seat or table of 8 please contact Adele Vincent on adelevincent@mweb.co.za For more information on what this charity is about please vist their websitehttp://www.freemewildlife.org.za/
Vote for your Best Rugby Player over the last 50 years
With the on-going events happening in celebrating the Clubs 125th Birthday the Rugby boys have nominated rugby players who they thought were the best to play for the Rats over the last 50 years. Visit the Pirates website on www.piratesclub.co.za and vote for the players who you think are the best. This is a fun event and we look forward to your participation.
The best team selected will be announced at the Cocktail Party on Friday 15th March being held at Pirates.
Till Friday
