A big thank you to members who gave money and time last Saturday for our Mandela Day initiative to improve the staff quarters. A lot was done but there are still a number of outstanding improvements we’d like to tackle. To keep the momentum going we are incorporating the 67 Days Staff Quarters Improvement Plan into our Pirates Development Plan. Watch this space for more info!

GOODBYE HAYLEY & WELCOME BRADLEY

The Club has sadly said goodbye to Hayley. Hayley’s wonderful disposition will be missed in the office.

She did a terrific job in putting the Club on the map with her Social Media expertise.

I am sure you’ll all join me in wishing Hayley all the very best for her future.

We therefore welcome Bradley Nelson to the fold.  Bradley comes with lots of experience in Social Media and writing skills and is going to be a definite asset to the admin team at the Club.

We were very pleased to discover once Brad had joined that he is the nephew of the late Dave Rawlings (a very staunch Pirate who will be remembered by many)  This is a definite sign that Brad is here for the long haul with the Club.  We wish you a wonderful time with us, Brad.

Brad will be responsible for the newsletter, social media, sectional liaison and assistant manager over weekends plus many other tasks which he will soon get to love!
