Another fun week has passed by in the life of the Club and we look forward to a wonderful busy weekend again. The Club Draw tonight at 6.30pm with R4 500.00 to be won. It is certainly becoming worthwhile to be here – so see you all later. Tomorrow we are hosting the Jozi Crafters Beer Festival. This looks like a wonderful event and I trust some of our members will be here to enjoy the festivities and Micro Breweries.

Pirates Rugby is playing against Wits at Wits on Saturday 26th May. The 1st team game kicks off at 16h00. Some good Pirates support is greatly appreciated

Pirates Rugby is offering a bus with ticket or bus only to the game at Coca Cola Park on Saturday 2nd June. Kick off is at 17h00 and the bus will leave at 16h00 from the club.

SPORTSMAN’S LUNCH – THURSDAY 14TH JUNE
Pirates is hosting a Sportsman’s Lunch on Thursday 14th June – just before the England/Springbok Test. Guest Speakers for the day are our old friend and English player PETER WINTERBOTTOM and Springbok RAY MORDT. This promises to be a great lunch at the Club and we need the support of members to this event.
The cost is R200.00 per person

PIRATES SPORTS SHOP
The Pirates Sports Shop has received its new Pirates branded stock. We now have Pirates Ladies and Junior hockey kits, Pirates Hoodies, Caps, Beenies and Long Sleeve shirts. We also carry a full range of Hockey and Squash equipment. The new Running and Rugby stock will arrive shortly.
Opening hours are Mon-Fri 17:30 to 20:00 and Sat 08:30 to 12pm.
MICRO BREWERY BEER FESTIVAL AT PIRATES – 26th May
Pirates is offering the venue and they are running the event but all members and their families and friends are welcome to join in – it sounds like a great way to spend a day. The gates will open at 10h00 and close at 19h00
The JOZI CRAFT BEER FEST is finally here.
After a long and slow matured journey we are finally ready to host the first annual JOZI CRAFT BEER FEST here in the heart of Johannesburg. Located in the amazing grounds of the Pirates Rugby Club, we will be serving the best of the Craft Beer family of beers. All 100% natural. Locally produced and locally sold. With music to fill the empty spaces and seating to make the beers slide down on a hot sunny day, nothing could be better than coming down and spending the day with us. We will be open from 10am on Saturday the 26th of May and will be coming back year after year with more crafted magic!
