There is lots of sport this weekend on the big screens and Pirates will be the ‘Place to Be’ to watch. We have Test Cricket, Tour de France, Super 15 Rugby and the British Open. The Jozi Market will be open with a lovely Christmas in July theme so don’t miss out and come down to the Club. Pirates Rugby are playing at home against Benoni on Saturday – come down and support the boys
SPORT ON TV THIS WEEKEND
Come to the Club on Saturday morning and enjoy a Blue Bulls Breakfast Special. The Blue Bulls are playing against Crusaders at 09h35 and the Main Bar will be open serving a wonderful Blue Bulls Breakfast which includes 100g Beef Burger patty, free range eggs on top, 4 strips of bacon, tomato, chips and toast for only R35.00. The Sharks game follows straight after that where they are up against the Reds – Kick off for this game is 11h40 and by then the breakfast is down and
the beers are cold. See you down at the Club for these very important Super 15 games of the Season.
Pirates Rugby at Home on Saturday vs Benoni
The Pirates boys are playing at home this weekend against Benoni Rugby Club after pulling off a dramatic last minute gasp win against Boksburg (away) last Saturday the boys are ready to win again at home. Support for the teams would be greatly appreciated – looking forward to seeing many guys at the Club on Saturday

PIRATES SPORTS SHOP HAS LOVELY PIRATES GEAR
The Sports Shop has received all sorts of lovely Pirates kit which is available to everyone. Socks have arrived and these are available @ R60.00 per pair. Pop down to the shop which is open Monday to Thursday evenings from 18h00 to 20h00 and on Saturday mornings from 09h00 to 12h00 Matthew is very obliging and if there is anything you require please give him a call on 082 446 9037.
PIRATES HIGH SCHOOL ACADEMY
Pirates Cricket Club are holding a High School Academy for all inspiring young cricketers. This is held every Friday afternoon from 4.30pm at the Pirates Cricket nets. The cost is R100.00 per Session. All boys are welcome to join in. Please contact Roger Burne on 082 403 5294 for more information.
PIRATES CLUB DRAW – FRIDAY 27TH JULY
R5 500.00 to be won. The Club Draw will take place on Friday 27th July in the Main Bar. This Draw will be organized and run by the Squash Section as Hockey are unable to make it this month. The first name out of the barrel will win R5 500.00 – this money is really worth a trip to the Club for so see you all at the Club on the 27th July.
