Good Day Pirates Friends

We are looking forward to a wonderful weekend at the Club. Junior Rugby Prize Giving on Friday evening will bring all the young boys back for their final event of the Season and on Saturday the Boks play against the All Blacks at FNB Stadium.  Lots of action and much to look forward to. Hope to see you all at the Club.

The Club Draw was held last Friday and no one won the money so this means that the pot has increased to R4000.00.  The draw will take place on Friday 26th October.

The unlucky members from last month who were not here BUT their names were drawn out of the barrel were:

1st for R3500.00 Jason Clark from Cricket

2nd for R1750.00 Stephen Delaney from Squash

3rd for R875.00 Anton Kleingeld from Road Running

Bad luck and see you next month!!!

All Springbok supporters will be looking for a repeat performance from last week with the Boks beating Australia at Loftus.  The game at FNB Stadium kicks off at 17h00 and this promises to be a great game.  The Club will be open and the atmosphere will be fantastic so come down and enjoy the afternoon at the Club if you are not going to the game.  There will be a Juke Box in action after the rugby to keep the revelers at the club. The Club will also be holding two CASTLE promotions on Saturday.

Here is some interesting information about the use of My School Cards for Pirates

“Our records show that your organisation has raised R 224.86 this month, against R 203.88 last month. 37 supporters raised funds for your club this month, whilst 35 supporters used their MySchool card to support you last month”

I am amazed that from a group of over 600 members we only manage to get about 35 people to use their cards for raising funds for Pirates.  Please get your card NOW and start supporting the club by shopping where you normally shop and using your MY SCHOOL CARD.  All you need to do is visit their website and order your card on line.
