Well what a wonderful day we had on Wednesday with the Junior Rugby Tournament. The Club was abuzz with 600 little boys running around having the most fantastic time. Well done to Daniel Riberio, one of the Junior Rugby coaches for organising such a fantastic event. The pressure is now Dan on to do this more often. Well done.
The Club now prepares itself for another bumper weekend with the Club Draw tonight R4 075.00 to be won, Springbok Rugby on the Big Screens and The Festival of Beer on Saturday and Sunday. Where else would one want to be?
CLUB DRAW TONIGHT @ 6.30pm
It is the Club Draw tonight with R4 075.00 to be won to the paid up member who is at the Draw. We will draw 3 times tonight to give more chances of winning so make sure you are here at the Club. We will also be doing a raffle draw so there are many chances of winning.

SPRINGBOKS VS AUSTRALIA – Kick off at 5pm tomorrow
The Springboks are up against Australia tomorrow in Cape Town and Pirates will be open for all rugby revellers. Parking will not be a problem as the Pirates parking is for the use of Pirates members only and all Festival of Beer guests will be using the top field and the park for parking.
The Pirates Grill is offering a special for the day tomorrow. 300g Ribs and Chips for R60.00

The Currie Cup continues this weekend with some great games again and the Club will be open for you to watch all of them

PIRATES TO PIRATES RUN ON SUNDAY
Well done to Dave Case for putting together which I am sure will become an annual run from Orlando Pirates to Greenside Pirates run on Sunday 28th September.
The runners are being transported to Orlando Pirates and then will run back to the Club and have a braai at the Club. There are more than 30 runners participating.
Have a fantastic run guys and gals and see you back at the Club after your 22km run.
