Hi there Pirates Members and Friends

Thanks to all our members who joined the Pirates Superbru Group – we have got 42 players which is great – for those you have forgotten it is not too late to still join you have only missed one round.  For those who still have not paid please don’t forget and pay up!

Pirates held a very successful Craft Beer Club last evening – the event was very well supported and great fun. Watch out for the next tasting in September.

Pirates is a great destination to be to watch the Springboks vs Argentina.  Kick-off is at 17h00.  See you all here

ADT AT PIRATES

Pirates has taken the decision to cancel our contract with ADT we have been down a long road with ADT and they have helped us in many ways but unfortunately the service has not been up to scratch so a decision was made.  All their equipment will be removed and we no longer have a guard at the gate

We will from the 1st of September be using the services of CSS Security.

We are hoping that they will be more proactive and efficient

PIRATES HOCKEY LADIES HAD A GREAT SEASON

The Ladies 1st hockey side had a fantastic win in their last game beating Crusader 5 -1.

Our ladies did so well and ended up coming 2nd in the League – WELL DONE

Well done to the following ladies for being selected for their Provincial sides, they will  play in the IPT in PE from the 19th Aug to 24th Aug

PIRATES RUGBY NEWS – 3rds make the play-offs

The Rugby Season is over except for the Pirates 3rd Side who are playing tomorrow, Saturday 17th August against Tukkies in the Semi Finals of the Predator League at UJ.  The game kicks off at 16h00 and some support for the boys will be fantastic.

The Rugby Section will be holding their Annual Awards Evening on Friday 23rd August at Pirates
