Sunday 31 July saw a full morning of mixed doubles tennis being played at Pirates Tennis Club. Players from various clubs in Gauteng competed in 3 different sections. Pirates came 3rd equal in the A section, 2nd in the B section and congratulations to Hylton Morby-Smith and Christa Cameron who won the C section.
Gauteng Central League for men’s and ladies’ doubles begins on the weekend of 13/14 August. Pirates have entered two ladies teams who will be playing on Saturday afternoons and four men’s teams who will be playing on Sunday mornings. Lots of tennis to enjoy.
