Good Afternoon Pirates Friends

Wow the first summer rains came in buckets yesterday so good to have some lovely rain. Pirates will now turn from brown to green almost overnight. Half the money at the Club Draw was won on Friday night.  Alan Lamplough’s name was the first out and luckily for me he was not there as the second name out was mine. Wow I was so excited and thanks to all the members for the kind words to me after I won the money.  The next draw will be R3 500.00 so see you there.

Have you all applied for the My School Card???  If not do so today at

Pirates Rugby 3rd Team won their Semi Final and are playing in the Final on Saturday 1pm. The Pirates Rugby 3rd Team did the Club proud on Saturday when they won the Semi Final match against UJ at UJ.  It was a tough encounter for the guys but they played with such heart and won 27 -22.  This puts them into the Final against Pukke in the Predator League Competition which is being played at UJ’s Milo Park Campus. Kick off time is 13h00.  Last week the support for Pirates was fantastic and the guys would like more this Saturday so see you all there.
