Good Morning Pirates Members and Friends
Thank you to EVERYONE who supported the Quiz Evening last Friday night – it was a huge success and thanks very much to Faxe Beer for sponsoring the evening and thanks to all our members and their friends for joining us – it will definitely become a more regular event on the Club’s calendar. We have another very busy weekend planned so we look forward to seeing many of you at the Club this weekend.
JUNIOR RUGBY @ Pirates tonight
Pirates Junior Rugby are playing their first friendly matches at the Club tonight against Wasps from Edenvale. Come down to the Club to watch the little ones from U8 to U13 battle it out on the fields. These young boys are a joy to watch and we look forward to some support for the boys.
SENIOR RUGBY BOYS PLAY IMPALA @ PIRATES
Saturday 17th May
After a fantastic set of results last weekend against Wits and some really good rugby the Pirates boys are ready to take on the Community Cup Champions Impala on Saturday at the Club. Games kick off from 13h15 with 3rds and U21’s, followed by the 2nds and u19’s at 14h40 and the 1st Team kick off at 16h00. The players really look forward to some great support from the Club. See you at the game.

UPCOMING EVENT AT THE CLUB IN JUNE
Pirates will be hosting a Winter Gourmet Wine, Beer and Food Festival on Saturday 7th June.
Please diarise the date as it will be a great event to attend. There will be;
- 3 different Wine Estates selling their wine
- 4 different Craft Beer Breweries with their various beers
- Many different wonderful gourmet food stalls
- Childrens jumping castle and jungle gym
This event is geared to be a family event for everyone to come down and enjoy an afternoon in the sun with friends, enjoying some gourmet food washed down with a good beer or wine
Entrance is free however if you want to buy the beer or wine available ouside you will need to by a Pirates branded glass or mug for R30.00

CLUB DRAW FRIDAY 6th June with a difference
Mitchells Beer will be attending our Club Draw on the 6th June and making a difference.
There will be Mitchells Beer on tap throughout the evening plus there will be give aways of Mitchells Beer AND they will be sponsoring live ‘light’ background music for the evening. Pirates Grill will have a special menu on offer and it promises to be a fantastic evening at the Club.
Everyone is welcome to attend on Friday 6th so please encourage friends and families to come down and enjoy a wonderful fun-filled family evening at the Club
