ABOUT PIRATES MINI & JUNIOR HOCKEY

For Boys and Girls from four to fifteen years old

Hockey is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, and with the South African sides performing at such a high level we hope to have many more children trying out this beautiful sport.
Pirates Club Junior Hockey is a smaller club which will help your child grow and improve with personalised attention at each practice session from our awesome coaches.

Junior Hockey offers club hockey for boys and girls within the Greenside/Parks community and we take children at all skill levels, even if they have never played before!

The Pirates Way
The Pirates Way means that being a Pirate you become part of something much bigger. Pirates is the oldest sports club in Johannesburg and thus when you become a Pirate you join in all the traditions and ways that have come before you. What does that mean on a children’s level? It means that when your child joins Pirates they will make lifelong friends and become part of a community that is like a second family. What does this mean for parents? You are part of a supportive family that wants to help your child grow in their hockey and sportsmanship.
