Thank you so much to the members who attended the AGM last night. We had a good turnout and the meeting went well.
I would like to take this opportunity to announce the new Management Committee and pay tribute to those who are leaving the Committee

Congratulations and thanks very much to all these people for giving up their time to work towards the improvement of Pirates Club. Wishing you all a fantastic tenure and may you all make your contribution in keeping this great Club growing from strength to strength.
Thank You’s but definitely NOT Good-byes
A huge thank you to Altmann Allers who decided to step down as the Chairman of Pirates. Altmann served the Club in very dire times and through his leadership and business acumen he steered the Club to where it is today – thriving and successful. From the playing fields in the 80’s and 90’s to the meeting rooms in the 2000’s thank you for your commitment and belief in this wonderful Club.
Thank you to Steve Braham who also decided not to stand again on the Committee. Thanks for your contribution Steve, especially with the well known and loved Sportsman’s lunches.
To Roger Burne thanks for serving on the Committee for the last couple of years.
The Chairman was proud to announce the signing of a new 20 year lease for the Club with the Jhb Property Company so the time is now to see our Club grow.
The Financial Statements are available in the office for any paid up member to see. Please feel free to pop in to the office to have a look.
