THIS WEEKEND AT PIRATES

Tonight we host The Glenlivet Whiskey tasting in the Old Bones from 6pm.

This Saturday we have Mini-Hockey from 9am.

On Sunday we have social Soccer from 9am. We have Junior Rugby practise from 14h30 and an U13 Girls Soccer match from 12h45.

MANDELA DAY THIS WEEKEND

We are upgrading the staff living facilities this Saturday in aid of Mandela Day 2016. We would love for as many volunteers as possible to get involved with this initiative.

WHISKEY TASTING TONIGHT

BOWLS

The bowls challenge continues to receive interest at the club although the cold weather has put a bit of a hold on things. The refurbished deck continues to receive positive comment. However, we intend putting another ( final ) coat on the deck and steps on Saturday. We are grateful to Randall Lewis for his generosity towards this exercise. We also plan to repair the damaged and tatty areas of the balustrades and re-do all the paintwork shortly. Another of our refurbishment plans is to scrape down the metal tables/ benches that are on the deck and repaint them with a quality paint. This exercise should see them looking top notch and good with the revamped deck.
