THIS WEEKEND AT PIRATES
We have a very exciting weekend ahead of us at Pirates. On Friday night we have a home game against Raiders. The U20, U21 and 3rd teams will play from 7pm.
On Saturday we are proud to be hosting the Currie Cup game between the Xerox Golden Lions and the Eastern Province Kings, kick off is at 3pm. The day starts at 10am with a Youth game. The 2nd team will play Raiders at 12h00 and the first team will play at 5:30pm/
On Sunday we have 2 Baseball games being played from 9am. We have social soccer on Sunday as well from 9am. At 2:30pm, there is Junior Rugby practice.
BOWLS
We are still involved with the Old Parks mid-week tournament but unfortunately lost by 16 points to 9 in another tight game .
We are also looking forward to the Pirates Bowls Invitational which we believe is a fantastic innovation and hope that a few new members will come our way because of it. It should be great fun, too. Our thanks to Dave, Non, Steve Delaney and co for their drive and the interesting flyers that have been produced

Currie Cup at Pirates on Saturday 28th May
The Club is very excited and geared up for hosting the Currie Cup on Saturday. A note to members regarding entrance and parking
The Main Club Parking to just past the Pigeon House will be reserved for members and VIP parking. This means that if you arrive at the main gate with your membership card you will be allowed into the members parking– we will not insist on an entry fee from our members but we do appeal to you all to make a donation of R10.00 which is the cost of an entrance ticket to cover the costs of all the extra infrastructure at the club on the day.
As you know this is not a huge amount of parking so get to the Club early to get your parking. Should the Members and VIP parking area be full – we are parking cars on the top cricket and baseball field and above the field. All extra parking will be in the park. So there is plenty parking and plenty security so we are hoping to have no problems.
Please support this event it is going to be a fantastic day.
