Here’s what’s going on at Pirates…

ROAD RUNNING

Support Gazebo for the 94.7 Cycle Race, there will be the usual Pirates Gazebo/Support table on the Slip Road Next to Jan Smuts Ave, at Timber City Blairgowrie on Sunday 15/11, around 6am until midday.

Wayne from Hockey has invited his Band (The Great Fernando.) to join us with our Drumming section.

All Supporters are welcome to join us with their Music /Noise makers, Tambourines, drums etc…

There will be a Skottle going for those that want to ‘Bring & Fry’ Breakfast with their cooler boxes, chairs and Pirates Hats.

If you want to put up a Pirates Banner advertising the sections, please bring them along.

GYM

Not sure what to do with your kids during the holiday’s? The Pirates Gym is holding a fun and exciting holiday camp.

CLUB DRAW

The club draw is tomorrow in the Main Bar. The pot has moved up too R6100.00.

Remember you have to be there to win. Come down and join us, who knows, you might start your weekend being R6100 richer.

Pirates World Cup Rugby Superbru

Thank you so much to all our members and friends who participated in the Rugby World Cup Superbru. I am still finalising who paid to enter so that I can work out what Steve Carlton will take home.

His earnings will be given to him tomorrow at the Club Draw

Below is the final Positions for top 15 – the whole leader board will be revealed next week and how much we raised for the Club.

Well done to Steve and as you can see from below there were some people really jumping up quite fast but the tournament ran out!!!

BEER CLUB

Howdie Hopheads

November is often the best but saddest month of each year as it means the final PCBC evening of the year. Nothing to look forward to after this for the next two months but hot summer sun (especially in this heatwave) without the promise of interesting breweries coming to take us through their best creations. Can you afford to miss this one and extend your dry patch??

We have a real great brewery lined up this month. Two Okes Brewery are a relatively new Joburg based brewery. Their entire goal is to produce “Real Beer”! Founded by a Man with a love for Brewing and a Man with a love for Beer (don’t we have a few of those?) they strive to produce the best beer from the best ingredients. With a great sense of adventure they have already produced a number of different beer styles in their range and we will get to taste and buy many of them.
