Pirates Triathletes make us proud

Hello Pirates Members and Friends

There was so much rain over last weekend that we had to postpone the Home Rugby game.  Thanks to all the members and friends who came down on Saturday to watch rugby on TV instead.

The Club is very pleased to announce that we have two more Springboks at our Club.  Well done to Roxanne Bell-Smith and Karl Rogers who received their Triathlon S.A. Colours and will be participating in the 2013  ITU  World Triathlon Grand Final in London.  This is absolutely amazing and I am sure the whole club joins me in congratulating you both on a fantastic achievement.

PIRATES RUGBY NEWS

Pirates had a good win in their first game of the Season.  The game against Union was postponed to Tuesday evening.  It was a good night out with the 1^st Team winning 37 – 23.  Fantastic way to start the Season.  The next fixture is away to Pukke on Saturday followed by a home game against WITS on Saturday 4^th May.  This will be a great day down at the Club so make sure you join us for this great Derby.  The Madalas will also be playing with their Kick Off at 12 midday.

KARAOKE TIME AGAIN AT THE CLUB – 25^th May

The Ladies 4^th Hockey side is once again hosting a Karaoke Evening at Pirates.  This was amazing fun last year so if you missed out on a ticket then book early for this year and join in the great fun. Below are all the details for the evening.

PIRATES CLUB GOLF DAY – FRIDAY 17^TH MAY

Thanks to all the members who have already booked their 4 Ball for the Club’s Golf Day.

Below are the details and we look forward to more 4 Balls being booked.

We are also selling tickets to win an ACER Travelmate Laptop very kindly donated to the Club by MAX HOLDING.

Tickets kindly printed for us by DORIAN TYRELL will be on sale from tomorrow.  Only 200 tickets will be sold to win the laptop.

2. Junior Rugby has started for U8’s to U13’s this takes place on Wednesday evenings
